Dr. Jodie Silleri graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2003. In 2009, Dr. Jodie was awarded her specialist General Practice qualification, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP). Prior to her time in medicine, she was also awarded a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 1999, as well as the prestigious University of Queensland Medal for academic excellence. More recently, in 2020, Dr. Jodie became a Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australia (FCPCA) and, in 2025, a Fellow of the Australian College of Aesthetic Medicine (FACAM).

Meso Microneedling is suitable for most skin types. However, care is taken for those with melasma or a history of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), as stimulation and active ingredients may occasionally worsen pigmentation. Your clinician will carefully assess your skin before proceeding to ensure a safe and effective treatment plan.
Our professional mesotherapy range includes serums formulated for:
Anti-Ageing Support – featuring collagen-stimulating peptides and antioxidants, such as idebenone, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and taurine, to support skin firmness, hydration, and overall vitality.
Skin Brightening Support – containing tyrosinase inhibitors and skin-replenishing vitamins, such as tranexamic acid, N-acetyl glucosamine, vitamin C, and idebenone, to assist in reducing the appearance of uneven tone or pigmentation.

Your Meso Microneedling journey at our Surrey Hills clinic begins with a thorough consultation to assess your skin condition, medical history, and aesthetic goals. Once suitability is confirmed, you will receive clear information about expected outcomes, potential risks, and downtime so that you feel informed and supported.
To begin the procedure, a topical anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area for approximately 30 minutes, or up to 45 minutes if you have a lower pain tolerance. Once the skin is cleansed, your clinician will use the Dermapen 4 to create precise microchannels across the treatment area. Your selected mesotherapy actives are then applied topically, allowing them to penetrate the deeper layers through these temporary openings. To soothe the skin and support recovery, a calming serum and LED light therapy are performed immediately afterwards.
Broad-spectrum SPF 50+ is applied before you leave the clinic and should be reapplied throughout the day to protect your skin following treatment.
Following Meso Microneedling, you may experience:
Mild to moderate redness (similar to sunburn)
Warmth or tingling
Light swelling
Occasional pinpoint bruising
These temporary effects usually settle within a few days, although this may vary depending on your skin type and the intensity of your treatment. It is best to avoid major social events for at least 4–5 days afterwards and to refrain from undergoing any invasive procedures for four weeks prior to your session.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Because collagen remodelling is a gradual process, Meso Microneedling is performed as a series of treatments. Dr. Jodie generally recommends 6 to 8 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, to encourage ongoing collagen production and progressive skin refinement.
