Mono Threads are injectable threads designed to stimulate your body’s own collagen to help address skin textural concerns, fine lines and wrinkles, acne or other scarring, and skin laxity. It is important to understand that Mono Threads are not appropriate for everyone, so extensive consultation is required prior to see if you are a suitable candidate.
Active Skin Care is highly encouraged to support skin health at any age. At the Dr. Jodie clinic, we prefer the Professional Skin Care Range from Aspect Dr, as it encompasses many of the key active ingredients required by your skin on a daily basis for nourishment, repair and renewal. For conditioning pre and post laser or microneedling treatments, we also offer the Alastin Range to better support skin recovery and optimise collagen stimulation. Improvements in skin health and vitality will ultimately complement the results of your medical treatments at the Dr. Jodie Clinic.
Skin Peels may treat a wide range of skin concerns, including oily and acne prone skin, pigmentation, aged and sun damaged skin, as well as skin simply in need of hydration and protection. Again, we prefer the Professional Skin Peel Range from Aspect Dr. Each formulation utilises AHAs, BHAs and a rich array of antioxidants and moisturising agents to help manage skin health. LED Therapy can assist with skin recovery and skin rejuvenation and is complementary with all skin peels at the Dr. Jodie clinic.
LED Therapy may be offered as a stand alone skin rejuvenation treatment, but more commonly is used in conjunction with other procedures, such as Skin Peels, Laser Genesis, or Microneedling, to enhance recovery and support skin health. LED therapy may target a range of skin concerns including textural irregularities, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, redness, and inflammation.
The Scarlet S Radio Frequency Microneedling is a minimally invasive, low downtime procedure that combines the power of radio frequency energy and microneedling for more comprehensive skin rejuvenation and skin tightening. By creating micro-channels of controlled skin trauma, it can stimulate your body to turnover old skin and produce new skin with more collagen and elastin. It works in unison with all other skin treatments offered at the Dr. Jodie clinic to help address lax skin, crepey skin, facial sag, ingrained lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, and even pigmentation.
Traditional microneedling involves the use of fine needles to create tiny, controlled punctures in your skin to stimulate a natural wound healing response and the production of collagen and elastin. Meso Microneedling pairs traditional microneedling with mesotherapy, where a tailored blend of active ingredients is delivered directly into your skin post needling, to target specific concerns such as ageing, dullness, or redness with both anti-ageing and skin brightening benefits. This too is a minimally invasive, low downtime treatment that is both cost-effective and suitable for most skin types.
The Excel V+ Laser is a non-invasive, medical laser that primarily treats vascular concerns, such as red spots or broken facial capillaries, generalised facial redness, flushing and rosacea, among other concerns. It may also help with skin pigmentation and skin rejuvenation. This treatment is not suitable for all skin types and may include some recovery time, so extensive consultation prior is a must.
Laser Genesis is a low or no downtime rejuvenation laser treatment for those who wish to address mild facial redness and flushing, as well as skin textural complaints, such as fine lines and wrinkles, open pores, and acne scarring. In addition to this traditional Red Genesis, Laser Genesis can also incorporate an option called Green Genesis that may help to gradually lighten skin pigmentation over time.

The Medi Pulse Pro XL IPL device was custom designed for the Dr. Jodie clinic. It primarily focuses on the reduction of brown spots, such as age spots or sunspots, and generalised skin pigmentation, such as freckling and patchy red-brown discolouration, but it may also play a role in the treatment of vascular concerns and skin textural issues. This treatment may include some recovery time, so again, extensive consultation is essential.
