Cancellation Policy

Please find below a brief summary of our cancellation policy.

The Dr. Jodie clinic is a small business. We try our absolute best to be accommodating & understanding, but as you can appreciate when clients fail to attend their appointments or provide inadequate notice, it makes our job quite difficult. We would like to acknowledge that most people do the right thing the vast majority of the time. However, we have a strict cancellation policy to protect our time & to ensure we can service as many clients as possible, so you do not miss out.

CONSULTATION APPOINTMENTS

Kindly note all consultation appointments with Dr. Jodie attract a $150 booking fee, payable at the time of the appointment booking. This amount can be redeemed on the day of your consultation to cover your consultation costs, also $150. In the event that you fail to attend your appointment or if less than 48 hours cancellation notice is given, this amount is forfeited. If adequate notice of 48 hours or more is given, you will be offered a full refund.

Similarly, all skin consultation appointments with Emma attract a $100 booking fee (with $50 redeemable on skin care products purchased on the day and $50 redeemable on your consultation fee), payable at the time of appointment booking, subject to the same cancellation terms described above.

TREATMENT APPOINTMENTS

Kindly note all treatment appointments, involving schedule 4 medications, with Dr. Jodie require a $150 booking fee, subject to the same terms and conditions as described above, fully redeemable on treatment costs on the day.

Similarly, all skin treatment appointments with Emma require a $150 booking fee, payable at the time of appointment booking, subject to the same terms and conditions described above, fully redeemable on treatment costs on the day.

In the event that you repeatedly fail to attend the Dr. Jodie clinic without any notification, unfortunately you will not be permitted to rebook in the future. In some very limited circumstances, full prepayment will be considered as an alternative.

Clearly, there will be exceptions – life happens & we are not monsters, but please understand this will be unusual & not the rule. We try our best to respect your time & only ask for the same courtesy in return. Given our significant appointment wait time & high demand, we unfortunately have to take a hard line to minimise last minute cancellations & no shows, so we can make sure all of our clients are seen in a more timely manner.
