Dr. Jodie Silleri graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2003. In 2009, Dr. Jodie was awarded her specialist General Practice qualification, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP). Prior to her time in medicine, she was also awarded a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 1999, as well as the prestigious University of Queensland Medal for academic excellence. More recently, in 2020, Dr. Jodie became a Fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australia (FCPCA).
For over a decade, Dr. Jodie practiced family medicine at Surrey Hills Medical Centre and cosmetic medicine with one of Australia’s pioneers in cosmetic dermatology in Melbourne.
For over 15 year, Dr. Jodie trained and practiced extensively in facial aesthetic assessment and skin and rejuvenation treatments, enabling her to bring a holistic approach to facial rejuvenation. With a strong commitment to continued education, she attends many Australian and international cosmetic medicine and plastic surgery workshops and conferences to continue increasing her knowledge and skills.
Dr. Jodie’s advanced skillset has enabled her to become an industry key opinion leader (KOL) and she remains in demand as a national clinical trainer of other doctors, plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and nurses for one of the leading pharmaceutical companies. She regularly plays a key educational role in the launch of new products and novel techniques and approaches within Victoria and nationally.
Among her proudest professional achievements are the moments she spent presenting onstage. Over the years, Dr. Jodie presented in Berlin at the GAIN ‘train-the-trainer’ meeting to esteemed international colleagues committed to the education of clinicians worldwide. She was honoured with the role of guest speaker at the Australasian College of Dermatology Annual Scientific Meeting. Dr. Jodie also performed the first live demonstration of peri-oral rejuvenation at the first ever Aesthetics Symposium in Sydney in 2019. More recently, she participated in an international scientific community meeting on the approach to peri-orbital treatment that has led to a 2024 publication in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Indeed, 2024 has been an exceptional year, with Dr. Jodie presenting at both the Non-Surgical Symposium at the Gold Coast and at the Aesthetics Symposium in Sydney.
